Corners

Lines and planes together,

connected in angles,

systems strong.

Two sides, include —— exclude

wrap and repel.

One joining with others,

define

space, ideas, mind creations,

enabling human designs,

essential.

Surveyed square,

imposed on landscape,

edges and spaces joined,

geometric.

Bird’s demise,

shapes rising skyline high,

glossy glass metallic colours

reflect.

Protruding bold, hard, prominent

catching shoulders, elbows, hips, attention.

Places of warmth, enclosure,

secluded and calm,

for romantics.

Magnets for common,

gather people in

and dust,

hidden behind stuff,

no room for foreign.

Similar harboured within

cultural, political, boxers,

perspective,

relative view point.

Back in,

forced,

by choice,

refuge, peering out, cowering in.

Entice the curious,

go round, surprise,

new vistas, revealing,

direction adjusted.

Distraction reduced,

relax, reflect,

about issues, actions, nothing.

A place for poetry, music,

cozy, comfort, quiet,

imagining

away from norms and storms.
