In a moment

Life stalls

Take stock

Reflect, remember when,

Consider, a journey not yet complete.

In a moment

Much to do,

Discovered,

Been here before

Different time, different place.

In a moment,

What if’s,

All irrelevant,

No then’s to lead on,

Nowhere to be going.

In a moment, 

Pasture green

Dandylion dappled,

Clouds float by, a wind,

Baby comes for back scratch.

In a moment

All gone

Lost

Can’t remember, blank slate,

Wonder, was there a better way?

In this moment

Never knowing,

Satisfied.
